Asuka Incipita Vita

Asuka is our amazing European import with multi-national champion bloodlines. She's dual-registered, holding registration with AKC and also with FCI in Europe. She's incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle. She's usually very calm, composed, and dignified. She's stand-offish about meeting new humans but is enthusiastic about new dogs. She loves car rides, walks, and hanging out with her people. Asuka has passed her OFA certifications for patellas, cardiac, and eyes; as well as testing clear on her Embark testing (tested for 230+ genetic health conditions, including GM1 Gangliosidosis Shiba Inu Variant)

More about Asuka's personality:

Asuka is very sweet and attached to her humans. She adores snuggling in bed. She's generally calm and will happily spend the lazing about. However, she's absolutely obsessed with walks and loves to go on all of the adventures that don't involve being in close proximity to strangers. She likes to ride in the car and loves exploring new places. She doesn't trust strangers and prefers to avoid them. She gets along well with other dogs but is also fine being by herself. She's very respectful of cats, maintains a trim figure even with unlimited access to kibble, and will tolerate her nails being done. She has absolutely impeccable house manners and can safely be left unsupervised with free run of the home. She doesn't have separation anxiety, rarely barks, and doesn't chew on cords, furniture, bedding, or perform surgery on her toys. She's extremely well-mannered, elegant, and graceful the majority of the time, until it comes to treats or people food. She's highly food motivated and forgets all her manners when she wants to share your dinner.

Due to Asuka's discomfort with strangers, and the fact that my husband is very attached to her, Asuka will most likely be retiring with us.
