Kuroki Go Misawa Ichiryousou (Kai)

We were thrilled to welcome this amazing boy from an outstanding exhibition breeder in Japan. He has a beautiful pedigree and is registered with AKC, NIPPO and with JKC (Japanese Kennel Club). He has a stunning daughter in a show kennel in Germany.

Kai has an outstanding Shiba spirit and a beautiful expression. He is a very sweet boy who loves to play with his people and adores toys. However, he isn't a fan of other dogs.

Kai has passed his PennHip certification for hips and his OFA certifications for Patellas and Cardiac; as well as testing clear on his Embark testing (tested for 230+ genetic health conditions, including GM1 Gangliosidosis Shiba Inu Variant) and his AKC DNA + Health/ Neogen genetic testing (tested for 328 genetic health conditions and traits, including GM1 Gangliosidosis Shiba Inu Variant).

Kai is a gorgeous boy we recently imported from Japan. He carries a copy of the "friendliness gene", which makes him a touch more people-focused. However, being a Shiba who was raised for exhibition in Japan, he is still a bit selective about his people. He's high energy - loves walks with a passion and loves to play. He doesn't require daily walks and is fine with weekly outings to prevent boredom. He doesn't sit still long enough to do much cuddling, but he loves pets and butt scratches and will stand still for a few minutes for them. He adores toys and will collect a bunch of them and bring them to the couch or bed (wherever his human happens to be). He's incredibly sweet and wants to hang out wherever his people are.
