We're thrilled to announce that Kate is officially an AKC Champion, and is working on her Grand Championship! Kate is super sweet with people and has an adorable Shiba smile. She loves belly rubs and is very well-behaved. Her very first weekend at shows, she earned a major win toward her Championship, and was awarded her second major win at her second weekend of shows! We're incredibly grateful to her amazing handler, trainer, and co-owner Tia who has done such an outstanding job with our beautiful girl! Katie loves shows and looks gorgeous both in and out of the ring.
Kate is AKC registered. She is CHIC (#204312) and has passed her OFA certification for hips, elbows, patellas, eyes, and cardiac; as well as testing clear on her Embark DNA testing (tested for 230+ genetic health conditions, including GM1 Gangliosidosis Shiba Inu Variant)

Katie is very sweet and is always happy and smiling, although she can put on her serious face for the show ring. She absolutely loves to snuggle and has the sometimes annoying habit of attempting to cover you with kisses. She's medium energy- very happy to go adventuring with the humans but perfectly content to stay in and binge Netflix. She gets along well with most other dogs and is happy either by herself or in a group, although she can get a touch jealous about sharing the attention of her humans. She has excellent house manners, doesn't chew on furniture, bedding, or cords, isn't rough with her toys, and is completely trustworthy by herself at home. She is crate trained and potties well on-leash. She has a few things to say when it's time to do her nails. She rarely barks and is generally a very content, happy girl.
